Six books purchased. It honestly would have been more, but I already own a lot of this stuff, most of which I paid full price for. I know it's the last day, but lets make it count.
All of those links go to the US Kindle store. When I redirect to the Australia store, they are either not available or not on special. Are you aware of any workaround?
About half the books I was interested in are available in AU Kindle for $1.50, which is roughly equivalent. I've purchased those.
Others were full price in AU, including Swan Knight, Somewhither, Colony Launch and the Fisher King books.
Unfortunately, the Kindle store has a couple of unfriendly aspects here - it doesn't permit international purchases, and I haven't found an easy way to jump from a book on the US store to the same book on the AU store. I had to search by author & title for each book to check whether it was available in AU.
Steampunk, electromagnetic waves, a spaceship with sailes (that reminds me of a wonderfully trashy movie from Japan I saw many years ago) ... oh I will have to buy me a Kindle. Thank you.

I think I'll start with A Fistful of Demons because I love anthologies and Weird West.
If anyone wants a recommendation for a classic -- try Bulldog Drummond by Sapper.
It's not considered politically correct these days, but It was written in the 1920s and yet the way it depicts its protagonist, Drummond, feels so relevant to men today.
It's such a shame that people think something has to be flowery and slow for it to be meaningful. I wrote a whole article analysing the character and found so much depth, but people dismiss it because it's pulpy and full of action.
Stories like the ones on this list are so important. Thanks for bringing light to them.

Oops, yeah sorry I forgot some people don't know me. I try to focus on folks who their main entry is under 25 amazon reviews, to help the newblets get started. It's really a struggle for them, plus its kind of a perk of joinin the cool based people club ;) i've done... I don't even know, at least 10 so far, just out of the based club. tryin to help them get started. help them feel like they aren't alone shouting into the void.
thanks that'd be rad. i also like , usually since they're newblets, if they like to interact somehow as I go, in case I get completely lost trying to get their vibe. I confess some people act like they need/want it, but are completely unapologetic and shat out a book they don't actually care if anyone likes or not. and its like, well okay . thanks for wasting my time, and good luck. ;/
i hate getting through one and finding out they actually don't give a fk, its a real bummer. networking's a bitch I tell ya! bah that's a whole podcast in and of itself. maybe next episode... anyway my whole philosophy is to try to put myself in the headspace of whoever their book is supposed to be for, so I can write a decent review. ;p

Is there any way to purchase titles outside of Amazon? Particularly the Wright ones? Ever since Amazon changed it such that I cannot actually own any e-books I purchase there and merely license them, I don’t buy e-books on Amazon anymore.
