Same. People can see what they "missed" in the smaller sales while also checking out genres they would usually pass by in the larger ones. Perhaps it's counter intuitive, but I also think seeing how big the seasonal ones are can potentially drum up support for the smaller sales, as well.
Yeah, that's probably true - for this collection, I really tried to have a lot of first-time inclusions to the sale. Obviously, other people will curate future genre sales so how that is shaped will be up to them. Just glad I got the chance to give it a shot.
Dang, I wish this was later… my husband and I have an alternative history book we’re releasing via Kickstarter in a few months!

Thanks for having me in the sale! I appreciate the chance to join with other cool authors and discover new books. :)
Our pleasure. Thanks for participating.
Grabbed some, love the idea!
I live in France and it seems I cannot purchase from .com version of Amazon, and .fr site has not the same kind of discount...
Amazon only allows authors to do discounts on their .com and .co.uk websites. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I just discovered that in France there is a law (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lang_Law) that mandate a fixed price for books...
First thought: Focusing on a single genre narrows things down, and it's not too difficult to navigate through everything!
Lowers the cost of browsing and searching.
I'd enjoy more smaller/more focused BBSs through the year than a couple giant ones.
If this goes well, we’ll do it again, targeting a different genre.
I picked up four books from this. So now you have a bit of anecdote!
Enough anecdotes, and you have data!
I believe the plan is to put more small listings together if this one is successful, though I do like the “all hands on deck” seasonal sales as well.
