Thank you for posting this--this was great! I watched the videos about "wokeism" and Trad Publishing forgetting about men. The panelists were 100% on-target--the only thing I would've added on the wokeism panel is that wokeism, in itself, is cultural Marxism. One of the panelists, I believe Mr. Pardoe, described them as "locusts destroying what we love." Then, they rebuild it as some soulless, preachy platform for propaganda. That's what Marxists do.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to attend this year but I'll definitely make an effort to attend in 2026.
The official site is here, but the certificate expired, so I didn’t link to it: https://www.basedcon.com/. The conference is in Grand Rapids, MI, September 5-7.
Deadline is extended a week to 7/17. You might be able to do a walk in, but meals are part of the deal, and Rob has to lock down his numbers early enough to get everyone covered.

This conference looks awesome, Hans. Can't make it this year, but I'd love to get to the 2026 one. Definitely gonna order a mug. : D
What if we paid last year at the con for this year's con? How can we check on that?
Ask @robkroese.
I sent him an email already. Just double-checking here as well.
The site seems rather reticent at explaining when and where this convention will be.

Well, it sounds interesting. But why is the today the last day to register? Can someone do a walk in?

How many people are they expecting?
Last year was ~75 and Rob plans on modest growth. No more than 100. Somewhere around 75-100 is my guess.
Sounds fun. Can’t commit so far away, but maybe if they allow walk ins… Is there a community?
