Let's start by looking at other projects where based authors work together to promote each other and their work.
Upstream Reviews
Reviews are a great way anyone can help promote their favorite based books. Not only can you (and should you!) write reviews to post on Amazon and elsewhere, but if you’re feeling ambitious, write reviews for a wider audience. That’s the mission of Upstream Reviews.
Upstream Reviews posts about the best in indie and traditionally published fiction, in addition to reporting on the latest in Sci-Fi and Fantasy culture and current events. Their authors are authors and fans themselves, written with an eye for entertainment and accuracy.
Check them out if you’re looking for new book suggestions, or if you have a favorite book you think deserves more attention, and you want to write a review.

Call for Submissions: ‘til Death Do Us Part
From editor Misha Burnett:
The anthology will be called ’til Death Do Us Part, and will be a collection of Action/Adventure stories featuring married couples as the heroes and heroines.
Specifically heterosexual, monogamous, committed marriages–and the fact that I have to specify that is a big part of why I feel the need to do this project.
I am looking for stories that show men and women working together as a team to overcome adversity, complementing their strengths, compensating for their weaknesses, and putting their family first, no matter what.
Check out the submission details here.
