Hi Don, I'm the author. Guess I should have checked here for comments earlier. If you like, I can make some Smashwords coupons for any of my books you like. If you don't mind downloading from Smashwords (they have .mobi and .epub file downloads), I can save you some $$.
My gratitude to the authors for the book sales and to Michael, for posting so many fantastic books links! I already had some, bought some more and left others to purchase another day.

And while I can't afford to buy _every_ book in the sale, for the last few sales, I've been stockpiling Amazon digital credits as I stockpile my prep supplies. Amazon credits you if you don't 'rush' the shipping, so you get the item ordered a day or three later but get $1+ in credit. If you order lots of individual items, this adds up very quickly. I'm happy to see a quarterly sale planned now, as that lines up nicely with the quarterly expiring credits...
So if you use Amazon wisely, you can subsidize your Based Books acquiring just by deferring your instant gratification, a very based economic approach.
Grr, just realized the remaining credits I currently have ($10+, and I easily spent $20+ this sale already) will expire right BEFORE the next sale (June 15th, next BBS starts June 19)... But I'm sure I'll make new credits before June in time for the next sale. I'll just have to spend the current balance between now and then... If only there was an ongoing all the time sale.... Oh look!
Or maybe on some of the other sequels/etc to the books I bought already...
If I haven't told you lately, Hans, thanks for setting this up. You not only help indie authors individually, but you're making a difference in the culture war and doing a great service for hungry readers everywhere.
